Duration of admission to German universities based on German language levels:
A1 (Beginner) = 48 weeks
A2 (Elementary) =38 weeks
B1 (Intermediate) = 30 weeks
B2 (Upper Intermediate) = 22 weeks
C1 (Advanced) = 12 weeks*

If the student's current German language level is C1, it takes approximately 12 weeks to prepare for admission to German universities.
C1 Hochschule proficiency(not C1 proficiency) is required for admission to German universities. This exam is held almost every month and takes about 4 to 8 weeks to obtain the results from the test date. Therefore, to apply for the Winter 2024 (starting in October) or Summer 2025 (starting in April) courses, applicants should prepare their scores well in advance, taking into account the application deadlines.
