EDUCATIONAL CONCEPT The school works with the Dalton plan in grades 5 to 10. The Daltonplan pedagogy assumes that the students learn self-thinking, share responsibility for their own learning process and can and must deal with freedom in the learning process. This helps them develop their own qualities. In the Dalton lessons, the students enjoy the freedom to decide on the sequence of activities, the workplace, the time required for the individual tasks, the pace of work and the learning partners (classmates, teachers).
The following languages are offered at our grammar school: German English French Russian Latin Spanish
foreign languages At our Gymnasium, English is taught from the 5th grade and from the 6th grade onwards, the students choose a second foreign language, which they study up to the 12th grade. The current choices are: Russian, French and Spanish.
DAILY SCHEDULE Classes at the Gymnasium start at 7.55 a.m. and end at 3.20 p.m. at the latest. The lunch break lasts 25 minutes. |
