Gymnasium Landschulheim Schloss Ising について
According to the new G9 education system students who started the 5th grade in the year 2019, will graduate after 13th grade. All the other students, who started the grade 5 before 2019, will study according the G8 system and will graduate after grade 12.
Landschulheim Schloss Ising is a public high school with economics, science and technology and linguistic major for external and internal students, which is supported by the Zweckverband Bayerische Landschulheime.
The grammar school has a boarding school for boys and girls. Currently, about 390 students attend this school, about 150 of them live in boarding house.
We strive to provide our students with the best possible learning environment. Separated areas allow them to concentrate on work and study during breaks and free time. Furthermore, we have been offering an open all-day school for many years. A team of educators and qualified subject teachers are there to help and advise the students.
The location directly near Lake Chiemsee allows us to offer our students electives that they will not find at any other school. With rowing, sailing and golf (and these are just a few examples) the students can enjoy free time.

Ising contract cancellation:
Cancellation only on end of February and end of August possible. For end of February you need to write a written cancellation til, January 15 and for end of August till July 15th.

Accomodation
Boys and girls can live in the boarding house. Around 150 students live in the "Schloss" and "Amalienhof", which is located right beside the Chiemsee.Female students from grade 5-9 will stay at Amalienhof and starting grade 10 they will be accommodated in the "Schloss" the building beside the school. The male students from grade 5-9 will stay in the first floor of the Schloss. Starting grade 10, it will be the second floor.
Facilities
Study time
The study time takes place from Monday to Thursday from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm. On Friday, all students who stay at the boarding house during the weekend, after lunch until 2:45 pm, and on Sunday after breakfast,until 11:30 am have a study time.
In small groups, the students do their homework under the guidance of experienced educators. The educators provide a learning-friendly environment, motivate students to study, control the cleanliness and completeness of homework and sign every completed task. If there are problems, there are two subject teachers available to assist students every day, who are happy to help with the homework as well as with the preparation of tests.
The study time is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the so-called Silentium, the students do their written homework. If the students have questions, they raise their hands and the educator comes to the place to help the student. The goal is always to guide the students so that they can help themself. Self-reliance and self-organization stand as education goals in the study time in the foreground. For example, if a student is unable to complete his or her mathematics assignment, he or she will be encouraged to work through the material learned at school or the pattern assignment in the book. If the student still fails to complete the homework and the tutor's tips dont help, the student can ask the math teacher for advice.
In the second phase of the study period, the students prepare for the lessons of the next day. They learn vocabulary and are motivated to repeat it systematically.In order to check the level of performance, regular vocabulary tests prepared by the teacher are written and exercise sheets are worked on.
The main principle of the concept of qualified study time support is the motivation of the student to do his/her tasks properly, to prepare the lessons reliably, to close gaps by reworking and to eliminate uncertainties by repeating and practicing
Activity
The leisure activities may sometimes turn out to be more varied than you are used to from other boarding schools. Sports, music and club activities are important components of our school and boarding life. Thus, personality education can be combined with the training of social skills.
Sports
At the LSH Schloss Ising there are veriety of offers: Our school's boathouse is located directly on the lakefront of the Amalienhof. As a result, our rowing boats are ready to go. In addition, the Amalienhof has a tennis court. In cooperation with surrounding clubs we are able to offer the students golfing, sailing, surfing, karate and horseback riding. In addition, our students can play soccer, beach volleyball, badminton, basketball or work out in the gym on the forest court.
Our students are also active in competitions: Whether at the boarding school or at the Chiemsee Triathlon - our students are well prepared in their spare time. Our students can use the Gut Ising golf course or take riding lessons at the Gut Ising stud farm .
Every year we also offer a dance class for our students with a final prom.
Weekend
For the weekend stayers we offer hiking or mountain tours, in winter skiing, night time skiing and ice skating or we spend a leisurely day at the boarding school among friends. The educators regularly organize trips to the Chiemgau.
Culture and music
At regular intervals we visit exhibitions and museums or enjoy an evening in the theater or cinema. For instrumental lessons we have experienced music teachers who come to our house. Students who are involved in big band, choir and orchestra present their skills at the annual theater performance.
2020년 9월 학기 시작 할때 이징에 왔습니다. 처음 도착했을때 지금의 친구들이 말을 걸어줬고, 그 덕에 친하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 기숙사는 굉장히 청결하며 시설도 좋습니다. 예를 들면 당구도 칠 수 있고, 소파에 앉아서 영화를 볼 수도 있습니다. 수업은 다른 학교와 같이 12시 전에 끝나고 1교시~3교시 중간에 30분 쉬는시간 후 4~6교시를 합니다. 그러면 수업은 점심 먹기전에 끝나고 3시 30분부터 6시까지는 숙제시간이 있습니다. 밥은 대체적으로 맛있게 나오고, 가끔 특별한 메뉴도 나옵니다.
