Kurpfalz Internat について
The Kurpfalz Internat has small classes, which gives the teachers the chance to monitor the progress and academic progress of each student more closely. It also gives a chance to children with reading difficulties. Since it's a small class all the students can participate in discussions and voice their opinion. And they also learn how to work effectively in a group.
The Kurpfalz Internat was founded in 1961 and it's a private school. It offers general education and concentrates on individual talents, characteristics and opportunity. The goal of education is not only to provide excellent academic knowledge, but also to increase individual potential and to built comprehensive development and full-fledged individuality. All the students live in the dormitory.
授業フォーカス :Middle or high school preparing for Abitur.
授業目標 : In our classes with a maximum of ten pupils, we place great value on teaching a solid learning method. Homework is regularly checked and corrected by the teacher, and misunderstandings are immediately explained. Everyone is encouraged and challenged.
At the beginning of the school year, we create an individual basic profile for our new students. Weaknesses in the understanding of the text and a lack of knowledge of learning techniques are recorded, as are spelling problems and possible deficits in fractional calculation.
In our summer school and in class-related themed days on learning techniques and time management, these problems that have been carried over many school years are systematically worked through. The small classes and the close contact with the teachers create an intensive working atmosphere. The close relationship between teachers and learners arouses the student's willingness to actively participate in the classroom.
After years in a class that is too big, many of them have new experiences for them: School can be fun!
授業時間 : Lessons, supervised study times and an extensive project program with 40 extra-curricular activities every week are just as much a part of the daily schedule of the Kurpfalz boarding school as there is scope to recover from the challenges of the day or to spend time with friends.
By eliminating the daily commute to school and the leisure activities directly on campus, our students have more of the day and quickly learn to appreciate the advantages of the boarding school compared to the day school

Residences for boys and girls are located directly on campus - there is no day school, all children live on board. Pupils are accommodated for 2-3 people in the room (each room has its own bathroom), on the floors there are always teachers. Curators and teachers monitor compliance with order, cleanliness and discipline, are always ready to help children solve any problems, are fully responsible for their 24-hour security.
Meals are organized according to the principle of full boarding (4 times a day, buffet); On a preliminary request, a dietary or vegetarian diet for an individual student can be organized.
Surrounding Area
Bammental has been settled since pre-history. Homo heidelbergensis found in neighboring Mauer, lived in the area around Bammental 500,000 to 600,000 years ago. The remains of a Roman road and Roman buildings bear witness to settlement by the Romans.
At the end of the 8th century, there were multiple mentions of the Frankish settlement, Risolfesheim, in the Lorsch Codex. This settlement is the borough Reilsheim. Bammental started as an extension of Reilsheim at the turn of the millennium. From 1330 to 1803, Bammental belonged to the Electorate of the Palatinate of the Rhein. Bammental belonged to the Meckesheim tithe. After 1803, the settlement went to Baden.
Facilities
The school building that was built in such a short time impresses with architectural highlights, excellent technical equipment and the positive atmosphere that is already noticeable. The center of the new building is a light-flooded atrium, from which you can access the project and classrooms and in which two communication islands invite you to exchange or learn during the free hours. Two glazed stairwells provide access to the first floor with an all-round gallery, a spacious science section and a modern school laboratory area. Special emphasis was placed on lighting, soundproofing and cloud board technology in the furnishing of the new rooms,
Activity
At the Kurpfalz boarding school, we offer you a diverse project program in the afternoon and evening, in which everyone can set their own focus. Tennis, golf, horse riding, soccer, fencing, build your body and basketball are very popular. Our sports field and our two sports halls also offer ideal conditions for volleyball, badminton, dancing and table tennis. Our own modern fitness studio invites you to exercise. Creative interests can best be realized in the projects art, tape, model building, cooking, model railway, patisserie and video.
