Option1)Homestay Location: Homestays in the area Room Type: Singles Meals: 14 meals per week Min Age: 16 Key/Damage: None. Description: Host families offer students a "home away from home." Students have the chance to improve their English conversation skills and learn about American culture and customs. Many students form lifelong friendships with their homestay families. Most families live close to ELS and provide transportation to students, driving them to ELS in the morning and picking them up after classes and activities. All students have a private bedroom with a study desk and WiFi access, a student bathroom, and 14 meals a week (breakfast and dinner).
Option2)Student Residence (on campus) Location: Draper Hall / Harris Hall 1915 N.W. 24th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73106 Room Type: Single Studio with Shared Bath Meals: Not included in the housing price. On-campus dining facilities and off-campus restaurants are available within short walking distance. Min Age: 18 Key/Damage: Refundable $300 key / damage deposit collected at check in. Description: Draper/Harris studio dormitory rooms are in the same set of buildings as the ELS Oklahoma City Center, so students are only a few steps away from their classes. Students can enjoy university facilities and amenities, including the dining hall (multiple meal options), fitness center, student health center, bookstore, Dulaney-Browne Library, and post office. Students have free use of the intramural sports field and can join intramural sports teams (soccer, table tennis and more) at no cost. On-campus dining facilities and off-campus restaurants are available within short walking distance. The Methodist/Cokesbury option has a kitchen or kitchenette. Min Age: 18 Key/Damage: Refundable $300 key / damage deposit collected at check in. Description: The Methodist/Cokesbury on-campus apartments are a 2-minute walk from the center. Methodist Hall is an enclosed facility with inside hallways, an interior courtyard, and secure basement-level parking. The complex has a movie room and community room. Cokesbury Court has an outdoor swimming pool, clubhouse and barbecue pit, as well as private parking next to each apartment.
