The Academic Skills Program’s supportive and challenging environment provides intensive Englishinstruction in the skills required for success in American colleges or graduate programs. This program isideal for anyone whose goal is to apply to an English-language university. Academic Skills classes run in8 week cycles. Upon successful completion of one semester, the student will move up a level.Note: Students that successfully complete Level 8 and the final writing exam will be waived from taking the TOEFLwhen entering any CUNY undergraduate program, except Baruch College.
