Global community - In the Global Community at the Waverly, ELI and UD students live four students to an apartment. Each student has their own bedroom and bathroom. Students share common areas in the apartment and socialize with other community members in the beautiful, modern complex shared spaces. - Each ELI student must pay a rent of US $850 per month for Global Community apartments - UD students may also rent a room in the Global Community on a 12-month lease, September 1 – August 31. - New residents must also pay a one-time deposit of one month’s rent when they move in.

Homestay - Homestay is a wonderful way to learn about American culture, as students and their hosts can share meals and participate in activities and outings together. Prices subject to change at any time without notice. - Homestay fees must be paid directly to the homestay host on the day that the student moves into the home. - Prices listed are for each ELI session. Each session lasts 7-8 weeks (approximately 2 months). These prices cover the student’s accommodations from the official move-in date to the official move-out date. If the student moves in with the host earlier than the official move-in date or moves out after the official move-out date, the student will be responsible for paying the price for each “Extra Night,” as listed in the table above. - There are additional fees that must be paid for homestay accommodations. - With the ability of transcending the boundaries of traditional off campus living, The INNternationale™ provides a welcoming center and home for a combination of international students, visiting professors, international guests and American students, while promoting their interaction both within the Residence as well as with the greater University of Delaware community. - Programs offered at the Residence, Conference Center and Café will open a unique window onto the new world that is being encountered in today’s global community. - Since it must accommodate many different needs and preferences, the residence offers a variety of floor plans for fully furnished rooms. - The first floor includes some slightly larger, gracefully appointed executive rooms for faculty, graduate students and the resident director, each having a private bath and full size bed, chair, desk, bureau, closet, color television and refrigerator. - The INN is handicap accessible with elevator service to all four floors and provision for students with physical disabilities. - In addition, the first floor contains 3 executive lounges, one with a full kitchen, a second for contemplation and the third, at the formal entrance, functions as The Reception Lounge with a fire place and French doors opening to a private garden within a courtyard. - The second and third floors contain a variety of rooms: Single rooms with private bath, the single/single rooms with shared bath between, the Double/double rooms, two double occupancy rooms with a large shared bath in between and the double rooms for two residents sharing a semi private bath. - The second floor also contains the resident assistant. - The second floor contains a large lounge with kitchen. The second and third floor have an additional contemplation lounge.

- The Program: The heart of the Innternationale is the program. A unique feature of the Innternationale is the spoken language program. The language program brings students together to learn about different cultures and languages. With all these activities there is never a lack of things to do or learn at the Innternationale. |
