For students considering taking a gap year, there are two programs to choose from - students can choose the Semester at SDSU General Courses program or the Semester at SDSU Business Study Abroad Courses program.
Program Choice : Semester at SDSU Business Courses Students earn university credit in one or two semesters while taking SDSU business classes. Students are also eligible to take classes in non-business majors, and choose between the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Types of Certificate : Business Certificate Students with an advanced level of English proficiency who are enrolled in the Semester at SDSU Business Courses program may expand their business knowledge by enrolling in SDSU College of Business courses.

Environmental Studies Certificate This program is designed to provide diverse ways for students to develop knowledge of the causes and consequences of the human impact on the environment. Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation Management Certificate (HTM) The HTM certificate is designed for those planning a career in the hospitality and tourism industry.
