Spanish Courses in Malaga – learn spanish, have fun! Instituto Andalusi opened its doors in 2002 and offers different Spanish courses for people from all over the world. Our school provides the students with a wide range of courses, including more specific ones like Business Spanish, courses for teenagers, as well as preparation courses for the DELE exams.
The school is also accredited by and a member of language organizations, such as Instituto Cervantes, FEDELE, AEEA, ACEM, etc. Our classes never exceed the maximum of 9 students, which makes the learning experience more personal.
Schools low season is from October until May. Our high season is in the summer from June until September. During this time we can host up to 15 classes in the main school building, while we do have another school building available – the beautiful villa directly in front of our school.
The heart of our school is of course our team – the teachers and the staff. They make it their job to teach you as much as possible while they make you feel home and as a part of the Instituto Andalusi family.
School teachers are all university graduates and have extensive experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Since we strongly believe in a personal approach, you will get to know most of our teachers due to our daily rotating system.

The standard course has a communicative approach that aims for the students to acquire the basics of communication in real life situations.
授業目標 : One lesson takes 55 minutes. The Standard course consists of 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons daily from 09:30 – 13:55.

Confirmation After receiving the application, we will send you a confirmation and invoice containing the amount that needs to be paid. A deposit of € 100 for the course fee and € 100 for the accommodation fee needs to be received to ensure your place (For private apartments there is a deposit of 50 % of the accommodation amount). The rest of the amount has to be paid one month before the course starts. If the enrollment is made earlier than 1 month before the beginning of the course, the total amount has to be paid at once.
Cancellation For cancellations, which the school must receive through email, we have the following charges:
For cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the arrival, we will charge you € 100. In case of cancellations made more than 3 weeks before the arrival, we will charge you € 200 (€ 100 for the course and € 100 for the accommodation) For cancellations made from 8 days before the arrival until non-appearance, all fees become non refundable After a programme has started, there is no refund for any course and accommodation.
Non-appearance and delay With late arrival or non-appearance, there is no possibility to retrieve the missed instruction or to get a refund.
Changes We reserve the right to modify programs, if service providers or other non-foreseeable circumstances or events force us to do so.
Change of courses If you already started the course and you want to change your course to a course with fewer hours, no refund will be given on the difference in hours.
Suspending We reserve the right to suspend students with bad behavior, breaking house rules or constant absence, as well as extract them from the accommodation.
Bank holidays There are no classes on national and local holidays. These classes are not recoverable.

All our accommodations are carefully selected: whether they are flats or host families, they are subject to constant monitoring since we are committed to maintain a good quality.
They are also between 2 and 15 minutes walking distance from the school and at few minutes from the bus stop.
HOST FAMILY
During your stay in Spain you will live with a Spanish host family. The host families we work with are friendly, social and make you feel as a part of their life. This is the best opportunity to further practise your language skills and fully engage in every day conversations at home.
In the host family you can either choose between a half- or full-board and a single or a double room.
This gives you the opportunity to get to know traditional Spanish cuisine, experience the traditional family life and enjoy home cooked meals.
Our staff regularly visits host families to assure that the standards are at their highest and that student preferences (food diets, non-smoking families, pets etc.) will be taken into account.

During your stay in Spain you could also choose to share an apartment with other participants of our school for more independence.

We are located east of Malaga in a neighborhood called ‘El Palo’, which is a typical fishermen neighbourhood about 5 km away from Malaga centre. El Palo has a lot to offer with its long beaches and lovely promenade where you have a huge choice between bars and (fish) restaurants.

Our school is an Andalusian style villa that is located in a very quiet residential area called Miraflores del Palo. The building has two floors with seven tastefully decorated and fully equipped classrooms with air conditioning. Further, the school offers a little library where it is possible to rent DVDs, computers with free Internet access, wheel chair accessibility, a vending and coffee machine and of course free Wi-Fi in and around the school.
Furthermore we have a big garden, two terraces and a pool where you can enjoy the sun with a cup of coffee while you get to know your fellow students. Because of its location and the more than 330 sunny days a year it is possible to have classes in the garden.
The beach is just a 10-minute walk from the school. The centre of Malaga is about a 10-minute car ride, a 20-minute bus ride or an hour walk away.
Due to its location, there is no problem if you travel by car. There are free parking spaces available in the street in front of our school.

A taxi from the airport to Calle Reino de León 10 (Miraflores del Palo), 29018 in Málaga.

2. Bus + Bus
The bus Nº A is a direct bus line from the airport to the city centre. You have to get out of the bus at the stop ‘Paseo del Parque – Plaza Marina’ and change to bus Nº 3 or Nº 11 to ‘El Palo’. After about 20 minutes you will reach the bus stop ‘Avda. Juan Sebastián Elcano – Iglesia’.
Here you get out of the bus and you cross the street and go up Calle Villafuerte for about 300 meter. The street will then make a slight bend to the right, which you will have to follow. After 250 meter, after crossing the dry river, you have to turn left into Calle Reino de León. After about 100 meters, you will find our school on the left side of the street.

3. Train + Bus
